Text Box: Kids With Potential Mentoring Ministry Text Box: Love INC is partnering with local schools and The Mentoring Network, INC, to place volunteers in a mentoring role with school children one hour a week. The Mentoring Network, INC has been developed to strengthen our community by promoting nurturing friendships between youth and responsible caring adults. Mentors provide guidance and support as these youth pursue personal, family and academic dreams. Project goals are to: Increase positive behavior Decrease disciplinary incidents Improve academic performance Improve school attendance Increase student ability to participate in positive activities with others (parents, teachers…) Increase community involvement Expand student’s thinking about their future, purpose, role by setting personal/academic goals Promote personal & social responsibility through decision-making skills Support positive lifestyles, hobbies & leisure activities.
