Prayer and Praise Newsletter
Leadership:
Praise! The newsletter went out last Friday. We are praying lots of people will respond to the different opportunities within it.
Praise! It was a busy, but very normal week!
Praise! Thanking God for a great Board of Directors and staff, we are very blessed.
The board meeting is Monday the 15th. Pray everyone on the board will be able to attend.
Healthy Families is coming this Tuesday at 7:30 am to tour the facility and get an update about Love INC. May it be a good time of expanding ministry opportunities.
I am speaking to the Nampa Rotary Club at noon tomorrow, Tuesday. May they become interested in partnering with us.
I have been given my conference teaching assignments. May the Lord give me wisdom as I work on creating them.
We’ve rented another building space in preparation of starting up our daytime classes. May the Lord provide everything we need to get these going.
We had two more visitors from the Boise Rescue Mission Staff come to tour our facility and learn more about the ministry. May God continue to grow this partnership.
Love INC Campus Vision:
Continue to pray for the Lord to build the Love INC Campus.
The Grace Place:
Pray for a lot of shoppers and buyers each week. Our sales were down again this week.
Pray for continued donations of all kinds, especially couches, chairs, bedroom sets etc.
Clearinghouse and Volunteers:
Pray as we work on the network bridge in the Grace Place that would allow us to have internet in the store.
Rick got our copy machine working again, but continue to pray it stays working. We’ve been plagued with copy problems for a year now.
New Hope Relational Program:
I am interviewing clients this week to match them with their counselors. May the Lord give me wisdom.
Pray for more children workers. We had a difficult time finding enough help last week.
We had nine potential new families come to orientation. Pray as they decide if they should return.
Pray for the new classes we are hoping to start up within the month, may the Lord guide and provide.
We started training five new budget mentors, may they be encouraged to serve in this capacity.
Churches:
The Church of the week is Heritage Bible Church. They are now supporting Love INC of Boise Community. May the Lord bless their ministries.
I am speaking at Mountain View Nazarene Church this Sunday for February Love Month, may we have a good sign-up.
Pray for all the churches having February Love Month presentations. May we see many new volunteers as a result.
I have been invited to speak at Caldwell First Baptist Church and Nampa Calvary Church this month. May the Lord give me His message to share.
Gap Ministries & Service Teams:
Praise! The meeting with the Meridian Friends Church Gap Team on Thursday was very encouraging. Pray for them as they consider starting up a new gap ministry.
Praise! We have a new volunteer willing to help with the bicycle ministry. Continue to pray as we seek to expand this ministry at a possible new location. May the Lord guide and provide.
Pray for the donation of a pig(s) for our meat ministry.
Finances:
Pray all of our monthly donors continue to donate this year.
Praise! The grant we submitted to the Lutherans Woman’s Mission League has been accepted to the next level. Continue to pray that we receive this funding gift.
