Prayer and Praise Newsletter
Leadership:
Praise! The board meeting went well. There was a lot of good discussion and several decisions were made. We have an excellent group of leaders. Let’s keep them in our prayers. Their names are Lloyd, Grant, Joann, Larry, Jim, Rudi, Josh, Stacy, Sandy, and Brad.
Praise! A major book distributor is willing to market our book. The discount they would take is very large and we would make almost nothing on them so we’ll wait a while to discern if we should explore this market. It would give us National coverage.
I have been given my conference teaching assignments. May the Lord give me wisdom as I work on creating them.
This Friday Boise Rescue Mission is holding a meeting in Nampa for area service providers to talk about the homeless and other needs in the area. I will be attending. May I discern how Love INC is to partner with other helping entities.
Continue to pray for staff health issues.
Pray for Hilary and her R.A. She has a doctor’s visit coming up soon and would like some adjustment to her meds.
Love INC Campus Vision:
Continue to pray for the Lord to build the Love INC Campus. Someone is considering meeting with me to discuss our vision, pray the Lord guides them in their decision.
The Grace Place:
Praise! We met our budget last week. Pray for another good week.
Pray for continued donations of all kinds, especially couches, chairs, bedroom sets etc.
Pray for the volunteers as they start to move winter clothing out and summer clothing in.
Clearinghouse and Volunteers:
Pray as we work on the network bridge in the Grace Place that would allow us to have internet in the store.
Continue to pray our copy machine stays working.
Pray for a volunteer orientation on Monday. Gwyneth has several scheduled throughout the next couple of months.
Lesa will be gone for a couple of weeks. Pray for the staff that will cover in her absence.
New Hope Relational Program:
Pray for more children workers. We have a difficult time finding enough help each week.
Pray for the new classes we want to start within the month, may the Lord guide and provide.
Pray for the counselors/client matches.
Pray for the New Day classes we are putting together. We need volunteers and clients.
Churches:
The Church of the week is Harvest Life Church and Pastor David Whaley and Jason Chaulk. They are hosting a special event the end of this month, may the Lord bless it and their ministries.
Praise! We received some talent tithes back from a few of our partner churches this week. May churches continue to highlight Love INC this month.
I have been invited to speak at Caldwell First Baptist Church and Nampa Calvary Church this month. May the Lord give me His message to share.
Gap Ministries & Service Teams:
Lesa and I went to Meridian Friends Church this week to look over space options to start up a new Junior Clothing Ministry. The committees will be meeting over the next few weeks to discuss what they can do. Pray for them.
Craig and our bicycle leads looked over the new space we are hoping to get for the bicycle ministry. May the Lord bring us new and excited volunteers to help grow this ministry.
Pray for the food pantry and the new lead we want to place to work weekly with those volunteers who stock the shelves.
Pray for the garden volunteers as they meet this week.
Finances:
