Prayer and Praise Newsletter

Leadership:

Pray for the National Leadership for wisdom and strength in all their plans, challenges and conference preparation.

Continue to keep the local Love INC Board in your prayers.

Pray for Lois. She has been off sick since Friday and is not seeing much improvement. Pray for rest and good health.

Lois has been given her conference teaching assignments. May the Lord give her wisdom as she creates the materials.

Pray for wisdom on how to partner with other helping entities, such as the Boise Rescue Mission, as we seek to cooperate in meeting the needs in our community.

Continue to pray for staff health issues.

Continue to pray for Hilary and her R.A. as she adjusts to her new meds and sees an orthopedist at the end of this month.

Pray for Gwyneth as she represents Love INC at a women’s networking group that donates monthly to our pantry.

Love INC Campus Vision:

Continue to pray for the Lord to build the Love INC Campus. Someone is considering meeting with Lois to discuss our vision. Pray the Lord guides them in their decision.

The Grace Place:

Praise! There was a write-up in the Statesman Sunday that has already generated a donation call and Grace Place interest.

Pray for continued donations of all kinds, especially couches, chairs, bedroom sets etc.

Pray for the volunteers as they start to move winter clothing out and summer clothing in.

Clearinghouse and Volunteers:

Pray as we work on the network bridge in the Grace Place that would allow us to have internet in the store.

Continue to pray our copy machine stays working.

Pray for the volunteer orientations on Wednesday and Friday. Gwyneth has several scheduled throughout the next couple of months as a result of February Love Month and a growing community awareness of volunteer opportunities.

Lesa is out until middle of next week. Pray for the staff covering for her in her absence.

Praise! Craig took a couple of days off and coverage went well.

New Hope Relational Program:

Pray for more children workers. We have a difficult time finding enough help each week.

Pray for the counselors/client matches this week.

Pray for the New Day classes we are putting together. We need volunteers and clients.

Churches:

The Church of the week is The Rock Christian Missionary Alliance. They are grieving the loss of their senior pastor, Cliff Williams. Pray for the congregation and family members at this sad time.

Praise! So far we have received 138 talent tithes back from 11 of our partner churches. May the remaining churches continue to highlight Love INC, The Grace Place and the Selah devotional.

Lois has been invited to speak at Nampa Calvary Church and has several other speaking engagements in March. May the Lord give her His message to share.

Gap Ministries & Service Teams:

Pray for the Meridian Friends Church committees as they meet to decide about how to host a new Junior Clothing Ministry. They have been hosting a coat ministry for us.

Craig and our bicycle leads looked over the new space we are hoping to get for the bicycle ministry. May the Lord bring us new and excited volunteers to help grow this ministry.

Pray for the garden meeting as we kick off the season.

Praise! A five-man team worked on a client home repair project.

Praise! We have worked out two more business partner agreements for New Hope clients – a beautician and a chimney cleaner.
