Prayer and Praise Newsletter

Leadership:

Pray for the National Leadership as they prepare for the conference in April. Also keep Robert and Susan in your prayers for health concerns.

Praise! I am finally feeling better, I thank you for your prayers!

Praise! I have almost finished writing one of the conference classes I will be teaching. Continue to pray as I finish it and write the other two.

I will be attending a meeting at the Lighthouse, Boise Rescue Mission, next Tuesday with other community leaders. May this be a good time of building relationships with them.

Continue to pray for staff health issues.

Pray for the leadership board of Love INC of Treasure Valley.

I am speaking to four different organizations next week, plus a partner church. May I remain healthy and inspired!

Love INC Campus Vision:

Continue to pray for the Lord to build the Love INC Campus. Someone is considering meeting with Lois to discuss our vision. Pray the Lord guides them in their decision.

The Grace Place:

Praise! We have wonderful volunteers, donors and shoppers. Thanks to all who help make The Grace Place a success.

Pray for continued donations of all kinds, especially couches, chairs, bedroom sets etc.

Pray for the volunteers as move Easter and spring clothing into the store.

Clearinghouse and Volunteers:

Pray for our computer system. It appears we have a virus and/or worm that is working its way station by station. We’ve had to send some of them off site to get fixed and now our network connection seems to be collapsing. May the Lord provide means or a volunteer(s) to help us get this corrected before we become immobilize.

Praise! Gwyneth has had two successful Volunteer Orientations this week, thank-you Lord for new volunteers.

Lesa is out until middle of next week. Pray for the staff covering for her in her absence.

New Hope Relational Program:

Pray for more children workers. We have a difficult time finding enough help each week.

Praise! We had eight new potential families come to Orientation this Thursday.

Praise! I interviewed and matched a few more clients this week. Pray for these relationships.

Pray for more cooking teachers!

I am interviewing new counselors this week.

We’ve had several difficult client situations this week and one who quit. Cover all the matches in prayer.

Pray for the New Day classes we are putting together. We need volunteers and clients.

Churches:

The Church of the week is Zion Lutheran Church and Pastor Steve Lee. May the Lord bless their ministries and would our partnership continue to grow.

I am speaking at Nampa Calvary Church next week. May it be a great time of sharing the ministry of Love INC.

Gap Ministries & Service Teams:

Pray for the Meridian Friends Church committees as they meet to decide about how to host a new Junior Clothing Ministry. They have been hosting a coat ministry for us.

Pray for the bicycle ministry. We are looking forward to expanding our space and growing our ministry.

Pray for some improvements we will be doing in the children’s clothing ministry.

Praise! We had a great turn-out. Pray for seed donations as we get ready to begin.
