Prayer and Praise Newsletter
Leadership:
Praise! My week away was great and I thank you for your prayers.
Praise! Chris and I have scheduled the shoots for the commercial and DVD. Pray they go smoothly and we find all the people we need to do the different parts.
We have a National Clearinghouse Training this week Wednesday through Friday. Pray for safe travel and a wonderful training for all thirty participants. Praise! God answered prayers and we have all the food and travel arrangements filled by wonderful volunteers.
The board meeting was moved to Monday July 26th. Pray all can come and we have a good meeting.
Pray for Nancy and Hilary who have doctor visits this week. We continue to believe in the Lord’s healing for them both.
Pray for Rose whose father passed away this week.
Love INC Campus Vision:
We continue to believe in the Lord bringing this vision into a reality in His time.
The Grace Place:
Pray for new shoppers to discover the store and help spread the word. We gave out a lot of advertisement postcards.
Our second sidewalk sale is August 7th. Pray as they start sorting through what we want to put out and for advertisement to promote it.
Praise! We have received several large and wonderful donations of quality stuff. Thanking God for His provision.
Pray for wisdom in how to market antiques.
Clearinghouse and Volunteers:
Praise! Thanking Lesa for managing the Clearinghouse so Nancy could have a week off. We have great staff.
Praise! Gwyneth continues to orientate new volunteers on an almost weekly basis.
We had a busy week on the phones, may the Lord guide us as we seek how to best help each caller.
New Hope Relational Program:
Praise! No one quit this week!
Praise! Six new clients enrolled in the program.
Each week we match new clients with counselors. May the Lord honor these relationships and grow them together.
We are getting ready to start teaching a Job Skills Class for C.A.T.C.H. May the Lord provide everything needed to make this happen.
Pray for children’s workers.
Pray for the Celebration/testimonial night July 29th. You are invited, Nampa First Christian Church 7:00 pm.
Churches:
The Church of the week is Boone Memorial Presbyterian Church and Pastor Aaron Beaty. Pray for them as they seek to remain faithful to the Lord’s leading and teaching. Thanks church for all you do.
Praise! I believe we have two new churches partnering up in the fall. Continue to pray for all the details.
Praise! Thirty-one CMC’s from church partners have received information packets and many took backpacks. Pray they can engage their complete church in different projects.
Gap Ministries & Service Teams:
Pray for the Friends Church as they work on opening up “The Look” our new junior clothing ministry. Praise! George is overseeing the project and painting should be finished this week.
Pray for our need for more warehouse space. We have STUFF everywhere.
Pray for Packed With Love, our school backpack ministry.
Pray for lead volunteers to receive donations each day of the week in the warehouse.
Finances:
Praise! The poster design is done and it’s great. Thanks Gene! He has also found a resource who will print the posters for free.
Pray for Bette and the musical drama she is writing. I will get a preview on July 27th. Praise! She has all her actors!
Pray for all aspects of the Melody of Love Concert!
