Leadership:
Praise! Our Board Retreat went well. We had some really good discussions and hopefully we’ll be able to put some things into place that will communicate the mission of Love INC.
Praise! We had a Staff/Board dinner get together after the retreat. The food was good and it was fun to get to know everyone’s spouses. Thanks Rose and Nancy for your hard work!
We are setting up a booth at the God and Country Rally. May we get a lot of new publicity and interested people to stop by and visit us.
Chris and I are working on a Grace Place Ad and a new DVD. Pray that both communicate the mission of Love INC and our store effectively.
I am meeting with Kristi from C.A.T.C.H. Tuesday to talk about classes which we hope to offer their clients.
Love INC Campus Vision:
We continue to believe in the Lord bringing this vision into a reality in His time.
The Grace Place:
Praise! We had a good week! Thank you Jesus!
Praise! We continue to thank God for great donations and lots of wonderful volunteers to process, clean, and repair them.
We are testing out a possible solution to our networking problems at the store, pray the solution is affordable.
Praise! Craig has reworked space in the Prep. area so we can stage furniture that is store ready.
Pray for the store/warehouse volunteer appreciation Monday 28th. May we have a great turnout and pray we find volunteers who can help with the food.
Clearinghouse and Volunteers:
Praise! Thanking God the calls have picked up as we receive opportunity to help more people.
Pray as we discern which e-mail blast program we should get.
Praise! New forms are created and now the staff will start using them to see if they help us become more efficient.
New Hope Relational Program:
We are putting some of classes into the new Power Point template. Pray for Sarah as she works on this.
Pray for more gas voucher donations.
I am interviewing clients this week for matches with counselors. May the Lord guide me in my decisions.
Some of our clients are really struggling in their relationships. Pray for healing in their homes. We had two client families quit last week due to problems.
Churches:
The Church of the week is Karcher Church of the week! They are between pastors, may the Lord keep them strong and focused as they wait for their new pastor placement.
Pray as several new churches consider partnering with us.
Pray for Homedale Friends Church as they celebrate Carl Bennett’s life at his memorial service. May the Lord strengthen the church and comfort his family.
Gap Ministries & Service Teams:
Praise! The meeting with the Meridian Friend’s Church to set up the new Junior Clothing ministry went well. We hope to open the closet to clients by August.
Praise! A daycare at Mountain View Church is donating some wire racks that will go to the Junior Closet.
Pray for Packed With Love. We are setting up a meeting with the CMC’s for July 12th to distribute the empty backpacks to the churches for filling.
Pray for lead volunteers to receive donations each day of the week.
Pray for Pieces of Praise! We need a Tuesday team and two of our leads are out this week on Wed. & Thursday.
Finances:
I have a meeting to talk about Melody of Love this week. May the Lord provide who we need to help us out this year.
Pray for Gene as he starts to work on the poster design.
