Prayer and Praise Newsletter
Leadership:
Praise! I met with Kristi from C.A.T.C.H. and we are putting together a job search/resume/interview class for them. Pray that we find the perfect person to teach this.
I hope to have a meeting this week with Hope’s Door to also talk about classes for their clients. Pray we can set this up.
We are at the God and Country Rally Wednesday along with hundreds of others. May we get a lot of new publicity and interested people to stop by and visit us.
Chris and I are working on a Grace Place Ad and a new DVD. Pray that both communicate the mission of Love INC and our store effectively.
Praise! We had a really good Board meeting with a lot of new ideas presented. Thanking God for strong leadership!
We have a National Clearinghouse Training coming up July 21-23rd. Pray that we have an abundance of volunteers to help us with food and transportation.
Love INC Campus Vision:
We continue to believe in the Lord bringing this vision into a reality in His time.
The Grace Place:
Praise! We had a good week! Thank you Jesus!
Praise! The volunteer appreciation brunch went well. Thanks to Doris for hosting it at her house! I pray the volunteers felt appreciated and loved.
We are testing out a possible solution to our networking problems at the store, pray the solution is affordable.
Pray for new shoppers to discover the store and help spread the word.
Gwyneth and Craig are brainstorming over a marketing plan for the store. May the Lord give them wisdom.
Clearinghouse and Volunteers:
Pray as we discern which e-mail blast program we should get.
Pray for the volunteer orientations we have each week. May God continue to bring us new volunteers to help out.
Pray for Nancy and Lesa as they oversee the Clearinghouse and client calls. May the Lord give them discernment.
New Hope Relational Program:
Praise! Sarah continues to work on classes! Thanks!
Pray for Orientation this week and those who should come.
Each week we match new clients with counselors. May the Lord honor these relationships and grow them together.
A few of the more difficult clients are quit the program. Pray for them and the challenges in their lives.
Churches:
The Church of the week is Nampa Church of the Brethren and Pastor Bill Miller. May they be blessed and stretched by the Lord. Thanks Church for partnering with Love INC.
Pray as several new churches consider partnering with us.
Praise! I was a guest speaker at Sovereign Grace Fellowship Women’s group on Saturday. I pray my words encouraged others.
Pray for the CMC meeting we have scheduled for July 12th. May each church send a representative.
Gap Ministries & Service Teams:
Pray for the Friends Church as they work on opening up “Threads” our new junior clothing ministry.
Pray for our food pantry as we consider options of moving it to a different location to free up warehouse space.
Pray for Packed With Love, our school backpack ministry.
Pray for lead volunteers to receive donations each day of the week.
Finances:
Praise! Bette is willing to write and direct the sketch we want to perform at the concert. May the Lord inspire her!
Pray for Gene as he starts to work on the poster design.
Pray for the shooting of the commercial to advertise the concert.
Pray for the musicians as they prepare to share their talent.
Pray for our finances overall – things are tighter than normal.
