Prayer and Praise Newsletter
Leadership:
I am taking next week, the 5th-9th to be at home and hopefully rest and refresh. I would appreciate prayers that I can lay Love INC aside for one week and be rejuvenated when I come back. Thank you so much for your faithful prayers!
Praise! Lots of information and postcards were distributed at the God and Country Rally Wednesday. Pray we have a lot of new interest in the ministry and shoppers at the store.
Chris and I will meet July 14th to work on the three DVD projects we need done by the end of August. Pray for inspiration.
We have a National Clearinghouse Training coming up July 21-23rd. Pray that we have an abundance of volunteers to help us with food and transportation. Praise! God is supplying new volunteers and locations to help make this happen! Thank you Lord! We still have transportation needs so keep praying.
Praise! Heart ‘n Home Hospice came for a tour and to share information about what each of us do. May the Lord grow this partnership.
Love INC Campus Vision:
We continue to believe in the Lord bringing this vision into a reality in His time.
The Grace Place:
Praise! We may have the networking/internet problem figured out.
Pray for new shoppers to discover the store and help spread the word. We gave out a lot of advertisement postcards.
Gwyneth and Craig are brainstorming over a marketing plan for the store. May the Lord give them wisdom.
Pray for wisdom in how to market antiques.
Clearinghouse and Volunteers:
Pray as we discern which e-mail blast program we should get.
Pray for the volunteer orientations we have each week. May God continue to bring us new volunteers to help out.
We are closed Monday 5th, pray for those in need.
New Hope Relational Program:
Praise! Sarah continues to work on classes! Their looking great!
Praise! We had thirteen new clients come to Orientation. May the Lord bring those back to enroll who we can help.
Each week we match new clients with counselors. May the Lord honor these relationships and grow them together.
More difficult clients quit the program this week. Pray for them and the challenges in their lives.
We are getting ready to start teaching a Job Skills Class for C.A.T.C.H. May the Lord provide everything needed to make this happen.
Churches:
The Church of the week is Homedale Assembly of God and Pastor George & Liz Greenwood. May God bless this church and provide strong workers to help George and Liz. Thanks to both of them who have prayed with us each Tuesday for years!
Pray as several new churches consider partnering with us.
New Heart Community Church is coming for a tour and presentation Thursday the 15th. May they be moved to partner with us.
Pray for the CMC meeting scheduled for July 12th. May each church send a representative.
Gap Ministries & Service Teams:
Pray for the Friends Church as they work on opening up “The Look” our new junior clothing ministry.
Pray for our food pantry as we consider options of moving it to a different location to free up warehouse space.
Pray for Packed With Love, our school backpack ministry.
Pray for lead volunteers to receive donations each day of the week.
Finances:
Pray for Gene as he works on the poster design and Bette as she writes the sketch for Melody of Love Sept.. 13th.
Pray for the musicians as they prepare to share their talent.
