Prayer and Praise Newsletter
Leadership:
Praise! The National Clearinghouse Training went great! We had thirty people attend from across the nation. Thanks to all who helped feed, transport, and provided facilities. Together, God was glorified.
The board meeting is Monday July 26th. Pray all can come and we have a good meeting.
Praise! Hilary received some good news for her medication needs. Thank you Jesus!
Nancy’s shot has been put off until the 10th of August. Pray it is successful and heals her foot.
Ten pastors from Twinfalls are coming Thursday on a vision trip. They are interested in learning how to start up a Love INC in their community.
The first week in August I’m in Michigan on a Training II trip for National. Pray for safe travels and a good training.
Pray the newsletter is completed this week so we can start printing it next week.
Love INC Campus Vision:
We continue to believe in the Lord bringing this vision into a reality in His time.
The Grace Place:
Praise! We had a good week with lots of shoppers.
Praise! We received a lot of donations this last week, thanks to all who helped Craig work through them.
Our second sidewalk sale is August 7th. Pray as they decide what we want to put out and for advertisement to promote it.
Pray for wisdom in how to market antiques.
Chris is finishing up the promo advertisement piece for the store. Pray many TV stations pick it up
Clearinghouse and Volunteers:
Praise! Thanking God for the wonderful volunteers and staff who make us a National Training site. What a privilege to work beside such amazing people.
Continue to pray we know how to help each client who calls.
New Hope Relational Program:
Praise! I’m interviewing and matching clients all week. Continue to pray for this.
We are getting ready to start teaching a Job Skills Class for C.A.T.C.H. May the Lord provide everything needed to make this happen.
Pray for children’s workers. Renee is meeting with us to help us put together a strong program for this fall.
Pray for the Celebration/testimonial night July 29th. You are invited, Nampa First Christian Church 7:00 pm.
Churches:
The Church of the week is The Promise and Pastor Barry Osteen. May the Lord bless their ministries. Thank you church for providing space to house appliances and beds!
Praise! Lakeview Bible Church’s youth served 2 full days helping us get ready for the National Training. Thanks for choosing us for local mission work.
Praise! New Heart Community Fellowship is ready to partner and have selected Aug. 22 as their Love INC Sunday.
Gap Ministries & Service Teams:
Pray for the Friends Church as they work on opening up “The Look” our new junior clothing ministry. Praise! We are getting close, target open date is Aug. 7th.
Pray for our need for more warehouse space. We have STUFF everywhere.
Praise! Churches are doing more school backpacks than ever before.
Pray for lead volunteers to receive donations each day of the week in the warehouse.
Finances:
Pray for Bette and the musical drama she is writing. I will get a preview on July 27th.
Pray for all aspects of the Melody of Love Concert!
